Wilson Manufacturing & Design has built many types of conveyor systems for loading and unloading barges. Wilson waterway terminals are built for long lasting durability, superior quality, and serviceability.
Wilson Manufacturing ‘s Terminal designs accommodate numerous uses from unloading/loading ships , barges, rail cars, and truck to storage of material awaiting transfer. These facilities can be designed and manufactured for rates as high as 2500 TPH with 100 ton capacity surge hoppers. As in all Wilson Manufacturing designs, special consideration is paid to the type of material being handled when it comes to chutes, transitions, covers, and dust collection. Conveyors and supports are designed with consideration of many factors such as; wind loading, material characteristics, and continuously welded structural members to resist corrosion from weather and materials. Walkways are equipped with non-skid grating for the entire length of the conveyor allowing access to all service platforms. Chutes and transitions are enclosed to limit weather effects on product transfer and control dust. Loadout conveyors can be equipped with dual idler belt scales with an accuracy of +/- 1%.
Wilson Manufacturing & Design specializes in manufacturing high quality transfer equipment for most dry bulk materials using components which stand the test of time from brands such as Rexnord, Dodge, and Goodyear.
Wilson Manufacturing is capable of handling turnkey projects including sitework, terminal layout, equipment design, fabrication, installation, testing, and operator training. If your company has terminal design needs, we would appreciate the opportunity to show how our innovativeness and equipment design can provide you with the best terminal design possible.
